My furnace went out and the company that installed it no longer serviced units in my area. I started looking around and happened across “It’s Phenomenal Air” heating and cooling. After I scheduled the appointment, they were prompt, very freindly and respectful. They worked quickly and the prices could not be beat. From that point on I decided I only wanted Ivan and his crew working on my heating and air conditioning units. They are excellent and I recommend them to everyone who needs reasonable prices and prompt reliable service.

Such a positive experience! I will definitely use Phenomenal again without hesitation, and recommend them to everyone. My AC stopped blowing cold air. I made an appointment right thru Yelp–first available was 5 days away. Then I called Phenomenal to make sure they service my condo bldg, and the technician not only assured me, but was able to get my appt moved up four days. Techs called to let me know when they’d be there, arrived on time and were really friendly and professional. Told me pretty quickly I just needed refrigerant, so they took care of that, made sure the air was cooling down, then Ivan processed my payment on his phone, and all was done within 30 minutes. And I got a discount for booking through Yelp! Ivan also gave me some advice for what to do whenever I do need to replace the unit. Super helpful!
Don’t even know where to start, to be honest. My furnace just died during a historic cold front in the US and my home was 47°. I had my normal HVAC guy come out and look at it and he said he’d need to order the part and it would be here next week. Unfortunately that’d mean I’d be in a hotel until next week too. Called a dozen other places, same story. Nobody keeps this random part stocked, special order only. Well, nobody but Ivan! After making a dozen calls, I called him and he said he could fix it tonight. I was skeptical because I had been told otherwise so many times within the previous hour, but the dude is legit. He just left my home and got the job done, earlier than originally scheduled, too. The price was right and I couldn’t be happier. He saved me $100’s by not having to get a hotel. Safe to say, I have a new HVAC guy now. I can’t recommended these guys enough, SERIOUSLY.
Ivan came to check out my HVAC unit a few months ago; it had been underperforming and I wanted to get it fixed up before summer hit. He diagnosed a leak and was very honest with my options as far as refrigerant and possible fixes or a replacement. My impression was that he was much more up front with me than many of the other companies that I’ve talked to, particularly about the cost of refrigerant and whether I should be concerned about replacing my R22 unit (R22 is currently being phased out). His prices were very reasonable as well, compared to what I’ve seen advertised elsewhere. I decided to go for the easiest fix option to see if I can get a few more years out of the unit. Now we’re almost through the summer and it’s been working beautifully so far. My electric bill is significantly down too so I know it’s running more efficiently, at least for now. Here’s hoping it lasts! I’d highly recommend hiring It’s Phenomenal for your HVAC servicing needs and I would trust Ivan to give you a fair & honest assessment! If/when I do need a new unit or some major repairs, they’ll have my business.
Fantastic service! Had issues with our boiler, A/C and heat pump , and Nest. We called on a cold Sunday, and Ivan showed up within two hours (ahead of quoted time). He immediately went to work and found several wiring problems (disconnected/loose wiring), and fixed everything with 90 minutes (including crawling up on our roof to check a rooftop unit). He also noted a potential electrical issue and recommended wiring upgrade from original install (need a higher gauge wire to handle electrical current). Ivan was very respectful of our home and professional . Highly recommend this team! Cost was very fair given an urgent Sunday call to hit multiple issues.
Quick, responsive, personable, and did a good job. Also, was willing to work with my (somewhat unusual) situation — completing the job on a ductless mini-split installation. I called other contractors who weren’t interested in doing finishing work (i.e. attaching the copper lines and pressure testing the system) where I DIY’ed the first 90% of the installation and just needed an HVAC tech to attach the lines. Ivan was like, no problem, and put together a detailed, accurate estimate extremely quickly. Also, Ivan was super chill and flexible when I texted him at the last minute to reschedule. So that was great. And finally, he showed up exactly when scheduled, and kept me very up to date with prior to the date with email reminders.
Ivan and his crew were fantastic! We had a Tough Job to install a Packaged AC Unit on the 3rd Floor Roof of a Row Home. Using a crane and getting the unit up there and getting it up and working in less than 4 hours. It was seamless! Very Professional and quick response to every email and text. Highly Recommend!!

One of our furnaces stopped igniting and we are so glad that we called Ivan to come and fix it. He came out this past Thursday and got it working in about 20 min. While he was here we had him do a checkup on the upstairs furnace too! Good thing he got the heat working because about 5 hours after he left my pregnant wife’s water broke and we delivered our baby the following day!!! It was great to come home to a warm house. Thanks Ivan, you were prompt, courteous and professional. We’ll definitely be calling him again.
